We have a series of virtual events for our newly admitted first-year students to experience what it’s like to be a student at the Corcoran at GW. There are a variety of Corcoran events planned so that you can connect with us to learn more about your program, meet faculty, and get to know your future classmates.

Program-Specific Undergraduate Online Information Sessions
Many of our program areas offer virtual information sessions throughout the fall that are led by program faculty. Join us to learn more about our faculty, our curriculum, and program-specific application requirements (auditions and portfolio reviews). As part of each session, you'll have the oppportunity to ask us questions!

GW UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS EVENTS AND ONLINE RESOURCES
GW Undergraduate Admissions has created new online resources so that you are able to learn more about campus and the admissions process, as well as a variety of virtual events throughout the summer and fall that will give you the opportunity to engage with students and staff to learn more about the GW community. In the spring, join us for special Admitted Student days to experience what it's like to be a Corcoran student at GW! Spring 2021 dates and details will be announced via email to our admitted undergraduate students.
NATIONAL PORTFOLIO DAYS
The Corcoran School of the Arts and Design is a member of the National Portfolio Day Association, and this year, National Portfolio Day (NPD) events are completely online and are FREE to attend. Students have the opportunity to meet virtually with our faculty about their portfolio. Please note that admissions decisions are not made at these events. This is an opportunity to speak one-on-one with our faculty about your portfolio, our programs, and how to apply.
The Corcoran School of the Arts and Design has completed participation in the 2020 National Portfolio Day events. Please check back in the summer for a list of 2021 events with Corcoran faculty reviewers.
