Tom Morris
Tom Morris is interested in the hidden patterns of nature as an organizing principal for painting and design. Morris has had one person shows and participated in numerous group shows throughout the United States. His work has been exhibited through the Art and Embassy programs in Cuba, Costa Rica and Tanzania. He has produced murals for the Smithsonian Institution; Dakota Restaurant, New York; Artex Art Services, Washington DC. and the AFI theater, Silver Spring while also completing painting commissions for many D.C. area law and real estate firms, as well as for private collectors in San Francisco, Boston, Houston and New York. His work is in the collections of AT&T; Holliday Fenoglio and Fowler; Courdut Brothers; Wardman Park Hotel, Arnold and Porter; and the Jimmy Carter Library in Atlanta Georgia. Tom is currently the head designer of a hundred acre estate and garden project in the Virginia horse country.
