Biography
Tama Duffy Day, FIIDA, FASID, FACHE, LEED, Fitwell is passionate about impacting lives of all ages through innovative and purposeful design. A celebrated designer, speaker, author, educator, mentor, podcast host, and longevity advocate, she has been a design leader at global firms (Perkins & Will, Ellerbe and Gensler) throughout her successful career. A design pioneer in the healthcare industry for decades, she develops innovative solutions that reimagine health and longevity in an age-inclusive world. Tama is currently the Director of the Master of Professional Studies in Design of Healthcare Environments for the New York School of Interior Design.
Current Research
Task Force Volunteer, Age-Friendly DC
Age-Friendly DC is an initiative of the DC Government to coordinate observations of residents with equitable actions by DC agencies and community organizations to make the District an easier place to live, work and play, as we all grow older.
