Congratulations on your acceptance to the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at GW! We hope you join us for our graduate admitted student programming on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Kick off the day with the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences (CCAS) admitted student offerings and in the afternoon, be sure to join your Corcoran program for special programming. The day caps off with our Corcoran Graduate Admitted Student Reception where we’ll celebrate your achievement.
All students are also invited to our Research & Practice conversation series at 6:30pm. This lecture series was developed by our Studio Arts program and features dynamic conversations between faculty and art world professionals.
Graduate Admitted Student Day Overview

New Media Photojournalism

Location: Corcoran Flagg Building, 500 17th Street NW, Hammer AuditoriumNMPJ students will meet with Professor Susan Sterner and current photojournalism students at the Corcoran Flagg building auditorium at 12:45pm. We will travel by Metro to the National Gallery of Art (NGA) Special Collections Library to view photo books in the collection. The session at the NGA will wrap up around 3:15 and we will return to the Corcoran Flagg building to join the Flagg tour and attend the afternoon reception. Students will have time to speak with Professor Sterner and students throughout the afternoon.
