Visual Development Artist Nick Orsi will discuss the joys and challenges of working on Disney's Zootopia. The talk will take place on March 1 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Corcoran's Hammer Auditorium.

Nick Orsi assisted the writers and directors of “Zootopia” early in the creative process, developing the look of the characters. Great stories force people to think and move them to change,” says Orsi of "Zootopia.”

After working for a year at Lucasfilm, Orsi joined Disney in 2011 as a trainee, and later became an apprentice for director Byron Howard and co-director/co-writer Jared Bush. “Six months later I was hired as a character designer and was told the fox character was going to be named Nick.”

Orsi studied painting at Academy of Art University in San Francisco and has contributed his talents to upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios releases “Moana” and “Gigantic,” in addition to “Zootopia.”

Seating is limited, so RSVP to ensure your place.
