Exhibition Design students Alex Leary, Maggie Hermanson, Kathryn Scheuring, Paloma Olais and Rafan Bahkali are the creative team behind Books of Life: Resilience and the Written Word from 1933 to Today, now open at Gelman Library.
The exhibition draws on materials from the Kiev Judaica rare book collection and the Corcoran Artists' Books collection to explore both the book's resilience in the face of persecution and its potential to give voice to the range of human experience. The exhibit is on view in Gelman Library's 7th floor exhibit space.
