Our Music program is practical and experiential. You can study in classrooms and practice rooms. Our main administrative office is located in Phillips Hall, 801 22nd Street NW, B-144.

Access
Access to the practice rooms (B-114, B-115, B-116, B-117, B-118, B-121, B-122, B-123, B-124, B-125, B-126) is automatically granted to all students currently enrolled in a music (MUS) course. All Corcoran students, faculty, and staff may request complimentary access.
Students, faculty, and staff outside of the Corcoran, as well as all alumni, who would like access to the practice rooms should come into the Music Program office during business hours to purchase access for $30, payable only by GWorld Colonial Cash or personal check. Access is available on a semesterly basis and fees are not prorated. Because access to the practice rooms is controlled via GWorld card, persons not affiliated with GW are unable to purchase access.

Practice rooms may not be reserved or scheduled; they are "first-come, first-served".

- Practice Rooms are also available on the Mount Vernon Campus in West Hall. These rooms are not managed or maintained by the Corcoran.

Access
The Music Program has instrument storage lockers available for rental. Visit the Music office (Phillips B-144) during business hours to purchase access.
For students enrolled in music courses, access to instrument storage lockers is $20 for the academic year, payable only by GWorld Colonial Cash or personal check. For students studying abroad or graduating a semester early, access may be purchased for a single semester for $10.
Students enrolled in music courses, including ensembles (Band, Orchestra, and Jazz), receive priority for instrument storage lockers. Any students not enrolled in a music course, as well as non-Corcoran faculty and staff should register their interest in the Music office (Phillips B-144). Fees for students not enrolled in music courses and faculty and staff outside the Corcoran are $30 for the academic year, or $15 per semester if studying abroad or graduating a semester early.
Because access to the instrument storage room is controlled via GWorld card, persons not affiliated with GW are unable to purchase access.

Access
Classroom/multipurpose spaces (B-109 and B-120) are available for performance student organizations to reserve for rehearsal. All student organizations using these spaces must sign a Space Use Agreement in the Music Program office and schedule use of the room by emailing c[email protected].

Only open to students currently enrolled in Electronic and Computer Music courses. Students not enrolled in Electronic and Computer Music courses may gain access with permission from Professor Heather Stebbins or Professor Kevin Patton. Reservations are handled through a calendar managed by Professor Heather Stebbins.

AccessThe percussion and jazz ensemble studio is open to students currently enrolled in percussion lessons, students who play percussion and are enrolled in ensemble courses, and music majors and minors who participate in jazz combos. If you are eligible for access and do not currently have it, please email [email protected] or stop by the Music office (Phillips B-144).
These studios are also used for individual performance study and ensemble courses.
