We are a consumer-oriented phase 2 start up with the purpose of helping people elevate dining through beautifully crafted tableware. We believe that less is more, and are aiming to offer quality products that are beautiful, modern, and elemental. However, our mission is about much more than solely selling modern products, but fostering a sense of connection with yourself, family, friends, and your community. We are committed to working with skilled artisans and makers from around the world for our products, keeping an eco-conscious mindset as we execute each detail of the business.

 

Responsibilities

With a Fall 2021 launch goal, the Merchandise Buyer’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

Pre-Launch:

  • Research and analysis to decide on product mixes
  • Sourcing suppliers and artisans who align with our eco-conscious mindset
  • Assisting in the creative and sales strategies
  • Procuring the products, including ensuring they arrive on time and in good condition

 

Post-Launch:

  • Regularly managing inventory
  • Replenishing and rotating stock as needed
  • Occasional travel to meet with suppliers

 

Qualities and Experience

 

Essential

  • Experience or knowledge in selecting and purchasing products for the inventories of a company
  • Exceptional relationship and communication skills
  • Impeccable reputation of trustworthiness and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to navigate multiple responsibilities with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to anticipate, take initiative, and demonstrate curiosity about the substance of the work
  • Nimbleness and flexibility

 

Desirable

●  Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification in business, marketing or similar relevant field

●  Experience with merchandise software and tools
