After working in the business and legal affairs departments of major companies such as MTV Networks, Sony BMG, Austin Nichols, Kiki Somerville took a sabbatical to reside in Paris and live, write her first book, and travel the world, visiting the great museums and galleries of the world to cultivate her love and knowledge of art.

In 2009, Kiki produced her first art exhibition "Spirits of Haiti" with renowned artist Jude Papaloko "Thegenius", and discovered her passion for providing support and promotion for artists who needed a team of professionals with business skills. Kiki found a niche and created Fearless Artist Media/ The Fearless Artist in 2011 and began providing business services to major artists, writers and media personalities like Kerry Lutz, Danny Simmons, David Sena and Kenji Jasper.

In 2014, Fearless Artist Media produced the first TFAPOPUP (The Fearless Artist Pop Up Gallery) to serve emerging and undiscovered contemporary artists who wanted access to exhibit during Art Basel Miami/ Miami Art Week, the biggest art fair in America, which attracts over 200,000 people annually to Miami, Florida to see hundreds of exhibitions and art fairs. Since it's debut in 2014, TFAPOPUP has consistently grown in size and popularity, having featured over 200 international artists and regularly attracting over 2000 visitors daily.

TFAPOPUP, now in it's seventh year, has become one of the "must see destinations during art basel week" by Paper Magazine, "Best of Art Basel" by Time Out Magazine" and covered by the Miami Herald, Miami New Times, Sun Sentinel and many other art and event blogs. TFAPOPUP ranks at the top of Google searches for "popup gallery art basel" and one of the most exciting galleries to discover the rising stars of the art world.

Founder, Kiki Somerville, has appeared in Black Enterprise, as part of her participation in the inaugural cohort of the Black Female Founders accelerator for entrepreneurs, and in WorldRedEye.com for her curation of Elemental, a popup exhibition in a 3 million dollar Miami luxury property commissioned by Douglas Elliman Real Estate. In 2016, Quiet Lunch Magazine named Kiki as "one to watch" in the art industry. Currently followed by major brands such as Hermes, and the biggest art industry gallerists and curators in the world, Kiki Somerville has made her own influential place in the art world and her mission is to help artists make a living and develop the skills that it takes to succeed. Kiki is also passionate about issues of inclusion and diversity in the art world.

Kiki feels her pop up gallery, while provocative to art insiders that want to keep the majority of artists from getting exposure decided upon by galleries and members of the elite, levels the playing field and opens it up to people with the talent and ambition that deserve to connect with the art lovers and buyers of the world.
