Jon Ozment

Bio

Jon Ozment is a jazz piano instructor.  He has over 30 years of experience in performance, teaching, improvisation, theory, and jazz history.   Jon has been teaching at GW for 8 years.

Distinctions

Jon has performed as a Kennedy Center Jazz Artist.  He has several articles published in IAJE Journal.

SEIU, the American Federation of Musicians, and Jazz Education Network.

Education

Ozment studied both classical and jazz piano and has a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park.
