This exhibition explores the myriad of encounters throughout the Corcoran Flagg building’s past, present and future. The show features all student work from ‘Writing About Others,’ a class that analyzes what it means—ethically, poetically, formally—to represent the lived experiences or practices of others. Student artists have framed their project around encounters with ‘the Other’ including the historic building itself.
