Bio

Douglas Crawford, AIA is an award winning architect whose professional work is focused on projects that are regionally relevant and site specific, while his academic interests relate to the intersection of digital methods within design pedagogy.  In 2018 he started his own architecture practice, Douglas Crawford Architect PLLC, in Washington, DC.  Previously he has worked as a designer at The Walt Disney Company, The Beck Group, and as an architect at Perkins & Will, amassing a portfolio of work across many project types and scales.  He is a LEED accredited professional and is involved with the DC chapter of the American Institute of Architects [AIA], having served as the chair of the Emerging Architects Committee and on the Board of Directors of AIA|DC.
