Bio

Douglas Crawford, AIA is an award-winning architect whose academic and professional work is focused on the intersection of design and digital methodologies. In 2018 he started his own architecture practice, Douglas Crawford Architect, in Washington, DC.  Prior to starting his own practice, he worked as a designer at The Walt Disney Company, The Beck Group, and as an architect at Perkins & Will, amassing a portfolio of work across many project types and scales.  He is a LEED accredited professional and is involved with the American Institute of Architects [AIA], having served as the chair of the Emerging Architects Committee and on the Board of Directors of AIA|DC.
