D.C. Company Seeking Part-time Employee with Design Background

Good Lines is seeking a part time employee to work 15-20 hours a week to start in the Interior Design industry.  If the candidate does a great job, the position could grow into full time and there is possible room for growth into a junior sales role.

Good Lines is a sales organization that represents commercial office furniture, fabric and acoustic products in DC/MD/VA.  We sell products to Interior Design and Architecture firms for their clients.  We are seeking an organized, honest, hardworking individual who is eager to learn.  The candidate must have a reliable car and be physically strong enough to lift commercial chairs and large and heavy sample bags.   The position is available immediately.

Job title:  Good Lines Sample Coordinator, Inside Sales Support, and Assistant to the Owners

Assisting sales representatives to sell furniture, fabric and acoustic products

Presentation preparation

customer service

brochures, fabric and finish material sample sorting and inventory in office

help with forecasting and expense reports via excel spreadsheet

project follow up

pulling samples/schemes, must have a good eye for color and/or be willing to learn

preparing UPS/FEDX/messengered packages for delivery

delivering packages in MD/DC/Northern VA area

making reservations, ordering catering, planning Good Lines hosted events

assisting the sales reps to achieve sales goals with each of our manufacturers

assisting with Good Lines marketing including email blasts and new website

Quote pricing assistance, COM Approvals, special Request tracking

Launching campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, Linked in etc…

Maintaining Email and Contact database

Research skills to troubleshoot customer problems

Maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions, concerns with speed and professionalism

Updating A&D clients’ libraries in support of sales staff

Delivering and demonstrating sample furniture
