ArtReach After School, the Corcoran’s community art program, and Master of Arts in Art Education student Paige Byrne were awarded Mayor’s Arts Awards at the 28th Annual Mayor's Arts Awards Ceremony on October 22. ArtReach After School won in the category of Innovation in the Arts and Byrne won the Mayor's Arts Award for Teaching. This award is the highest honor conferred by Washington, D.C., and recognizes artistic excellence and service among artists, arts organizations and arts patrons in the city.
