Bio

Brandon McCoy is a professional actor, director, playwright, and educator currently residing in Laurel, Maryland. His work has been featured at numerous area theatres including: Ford's Theatre, Round House Theatre, Imagination Stage, Theatre J, Arena Stage, Olney Theatre Center, Rep Stage, The Keegan Theatre (company member), Theatre Alliance, Forum Theatre, and many more. He is an adjunct theatre professor at GW, Catholic University, UMBC, Howard Community College, Harford Community College, and Montgomery College. He received an MFA in Acting from Catholic University, and a BFA in acting/directing from Marshall University in his hometown of Huntington, West Virginia. Brandon is an accomplished musician, composer, and stand-up comedian. He has written four plays and one musical, one of which will receive its world premier production in the fall of 2019 to be followed with a tour. He is happily married, has a daughter named Shylah, and a cat named Sheba.
