Based in New York, Glenn Goldberg has had recent exhibitions in Los Angeles at Charlie James Gallery and in New York at FreedmanArt, Ventana 244, Jason McCoy Gallery, and Betty Cuningham Gallery. His artwork can be found in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.; The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.

In a recent review, Roberta Smith said of Goldberg's paintings: “He builds his images from infinitesimal dots that give the works an ambiguous, almost celestial ethereality and infuse his surfaces with an air of devotional quiet.” His most recent paintings bear Goldberg's language of recognizable "dots" and transparent washes of color and grisaille. His body of work also includes a number of prints and collaborative book projects.

Sponsored by the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery in collaboration with the Corcoran Art and the Book program and in conjunction with the upcoming exhibition Of Leaves and Clouds: Glenn Goldberg, Jan. 11 through April 14, 2017.

Mr. Goldberg will also be producing a print with Corcoran printmaking students on Oct. 27 in studio B-108 (Letterpress Studio) before and after his lecture. Please feel free to stop in to assist or to observe.
