The Art and the Book Program is exhibiting work in Gallery One through March 6, 2016. The exhibition features work from students of the Art and the Book program spanning from 2015-2016, along with a special preview of ReSound, the sixth annual collaborative artists’ book project created by students of the Art and the Book Studio II course.

ReSound explores visual responses to sound within the landscape of Washington D.C. using letterpress, screenprint, and digital printing techniques. Focusing on the human experience of traversing the city, the book combines these printed responses with journals, maps and process descriptions. Developed as a collaborative book arts experiment, ReSound represents an exercise in close attention and playful response.
