Student Space Requests

STUDENT SPACE REQUESTS

Corcoran Students are encouraged from across the school to show and exhibit their work, as this can be an important aspect of being a working artist, curator, or art organizer. We strongly support exhibitions, events, and performances to be organized from students within art history, museum studies, design, studio arts, music, and dance & theatre.

Informal and formal presentations are accepted. Proposals for traditional and experimental use of spaces across campus and within Corcoran buildings are welcomed, however the Flagg building is the primary hub for student spaces.

Please review the Gallery Guidelines before submitting your exhibition/event form.

GW Student organizations are also welcome to submit proposals to use the designated student spaces, please review the Student Organization Guidelines document prior to booking because rules and guidelines differ from Corcoran Student use.

GW students not part of a Student Organization and not a current Corcoran student are welcome to submit exhibition proposals but please be aware that students will be required to have a faculty mentor assigned to your project. Please review the Gallery Guidelines document prior to submitting the exhibition/event form.
