The Washington, DC fine art and museum community, has an immediate, full time opening, for a highly skilled and experienced technician to provide a wide variety of picture framing duties.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2+ years professional experience, preferably at a museum level
- Experience operating a computerized mat cutter
- Knowledge and experience with archival materials and methods
- Broad knowledge of art history, art materials and methods
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
