Once Natural: An Environment of Consumption

Please join ArtReach students at the opening of their fall 2013 exhibit, Once Natural: An Environment of Consumption. Inspired by Community Artist-in-Residence Mia Feuer and her Corcoran exhibition, An Unkindness, students explored the impact of human consumption on their local environment and created artwork made almost exclusively from recycled materials. The exhibit includes a recycled river based on the Anacostia, a 10 foot metal tree, whose armature was donated by Feuer, a multimedia trash wall and local endangered animals made from found materials.
