Nick Hemenway
Nick Hemenway (he/they) is the new Academic Department Administrator (Program Administrator) for the Corcoran's Museum Studies program. They are an arts administrator, artist, designer, and nonprofit professional. Nick earned an AA in Fine Arts (CPCC), a BA in Arts Applications (NCSU), and an MA in Arts Administration (SCAD). They are a skilled ceramist and photographer. They’ve worked for The Driskell Center, Monument Lab, The Trust for the National Mall, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Fulton County Arts & Culture, the City of Atlanta’s Public Art Program, BURNAWAY, Mason Fine Art, and the Gregg Museum of Art & Design. Nick is dedicated to supporting museum programming, public art experiences, and community engagement that amplifies the arts and culture of LGBTQ+ artists, as well as other underrepresented communities.
