What do you get when you take 10 corcoran students and introduce them to an N+7 algorithm? The "Comfort and Conversion: A Cathartic Confessional" exhibition. Inspired by the use of Dada and Oulipo with precedents set by the Guerrilla Girls, we found a secret way to express our discomforts about the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design. In creating these works, we as artists are comforted by expressing our discomforts. However, we acknowledge that the viewers may be disturbed by the works and their possibly confusing, controversial, and provocative texts.
