We are currently looking for an intern to fill a summer position as an assistant to the Marketing Director, or junior graphic designer. The tasks are all graphic design for the following needs:
- Email marketing campaign design
- Print collateral (posters, fliers, brochures, banners, ect.)
- Social Media images/photos
We would be able to pay an honorarium of $1,000 upon completion of the assignment, which is about 3 months long, or during the summer, and before the fall semester begins.
The candidate would report directly to me, and assist the Balance Gym management team in the numerous graphic design projects under my supervision.
I will provide mentorship support, constructive criticism, and opportunities to push the envelope in the communication arts field, as well as opportunities to compete in graphic design competitions. An emphasis will be placed on competing in real-world scenarios where our creative assets will be made better than our competitors. As such, I believe this is a great opportunity to get some real-world experience while bolstering the candidate's portfolio.
Our ideal candidate will be very skilled in social media apps with a focus on creative short videos, an expert in photoshop, illustrator and indesign, with some experience in Premiere Pro. A huge plus is an individual who is very outgoing, has a love of socializing, and is passionate about the fitness industry or arts.
The position would start in June and last through the end of August, and upon completion a $1,000 honorarium will be granted to the student.
