Are you a student of color in the Corcoran, looking for your people? Come join the Corcoran Students of Color Group (CSOC) and help us build the creative community we often complain about not having! My name is Professor Sham aka James, and I am the faculty facilitator for this awesome group. In our group, we strive to create a safe space for students of color to do anything from just hanging out, to having student driven critiques and studio visits, to even doing collaborative projects as a group. My aim is to help bring to reality any vision that the group has. Our first meeting will be Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. in Room 126 of the Flagg Building (500 17th Street NW). Email me at [email protected] with any questions.
