Benjamin C Tankersley earned his BFA in Photography from the Corcoran School of Art in 1999. Working as a Freelance Photographer, he is a regular contributor to The Washington Post and has contributed to other local and national publications such Washingtonian, National Parks Magazine, and Time. Benjamin C Tankersley also works at producing and exhibiting Fine Art Photographs that are in various private and public collections such as the John A. Wilson Building, City Hall Art Collection. Recently he completed a photo essay on the town of Breezewood Pennsylvania that he self-published and continues to work on personal projects and commercial assignments as well as teaching here at the Corcoran.

Tankersley is a regular contributor to The Washington Post, as well as having photographs published in the Washingtonian, National Parks Magazine, and Time.
