Amber Kerr Hosts Tour of Smithsonian Conservation Lab

A tour of a conservation lab
Amber Kerr, Paintings Conservator, will host a behind-the-scenes tour of a paintings conservation laboratory at the Smithsonian American Art Museum on March 4, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. The special tour is in association with a lecture about Jackson Pollock's seminal work, Mural
 
A few days after Kerr's tour, Laura Rivers, Associate Paintings Conservator at the J. Paul Getty Museum, will discuss how scientific analysis, historic research, and artistic intent informed the understanding, interpretation, and exhibition of Mural on March 7 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM.
