About Agnes: We’re building a campus way-finding application that actively matches students to events, groups, projects, and like-minded people in a community based on interests, skills, and goals. Our purpose is to increase community engagement by connecting students to experiences they’re looking for. Role and Impact : Our team’s focus goes beyond the Agnes app. We care about the quality of community as it relates to everyone’s experience. You will be called on to make fundamental design decisions that directly impact our team, product, and company. If you have drive, passion, a strong team orientation, and a desire to see the direct results of your efforts, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities : You will use your skills as a design master by constructing knowledge about our products and company mission to build innovative UI, UX, and graphic identity solutions. Your goal will be to increase the usability and visibility of our products by working alongside front-end developers and the marketing team alike.
In a small team like ours, you will have a tangible impact on the end-product. Therefore, it is critical that you are able to clearly communicate your ideas with an interdisciplinary team as well as understand the business needs while building out mission-critical designs.
Concepts you should be familiar with...
Human-centered design methodologies, Product design: product-level interaction principles and concepts, Interface design: component-level interaction principles and concepts
Understanding of basic computer programming principles, tools, and technologies Axure, OmniGraffle, or similar wireframing software
Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator + Photoshop)
Sketch is a plus
