Target Gallery, contemporary exhibition space of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, invites artists to apply for Passages, a group exhibition that explores the lasting effects migration has on cultural identity from the perspective of first and second generation immigrants from across the global diaspora. This exhibition gives an intimate look into their individual experiences and how these experiences have shaped who they are today. Adriana Ospina, Curator of Permanent Collection and Education at the Art Museum of the Americas, is the juror.
This exhibition is for regional emerging artists. We will accept submissions from artists that live within D.C., Maryland, or Virginia and have not had a solo exhibition at a professional gallery or art space (BFA or MFA exhibitions do not apply).
