Giselle Ruzany MA DTR LPC has been an artist and dancer for most of her life, performing internationally and collaborating with different artists around the USA. She has danced with Maida Withers Dance Construction Company on and off since 1995. In her role as an adjunct faculty member, Professor Ruzany has presented in symposiums and colleges coast to coast. Throughout her journey as a psychotherapist and choreographer, Giselle has been investigating the crossroad between dance and psychology and how the world of somatic informs both. Most recently, she has returned to choreographing her own work including “Memorial dance,” “Dry Cleaning and Repair” and “Box of Strings”. Courses taught by Professor Ruzany included Modern/Post Modern Dance, Movement Awareness, Embodied Anatomy and Kinesiology, Aesthetic I and Master Survey.
