Bio

Cate Brewer holds a B.A. in Theatre from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.F.A. in Theatre Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is an actor and director and a member of both AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Prior to joining the faculty at CTAD Cate served as a Senior Lecturer in Theatre at University of Mary Washington, where she taught the performance curriculum in the Department of Theatre & Dance since 2009. Cate is a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and serves as a Helen Hayes Award judge for Washington Theatre.
