Michael Pacheco is adjunct faculty at GW Corcoran College of the Arts and Design in the Graphic Design Program teaching CDM2320 and CDM3320 Digital Illustration 1 & 2.

He was once a college student at the Corcoran, also taking classes here since he was ten years old, but graduated from OTIS College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA.

All with a goal to communicate an intended message, Michael takes traditional approaches to elaborate in the digital realm and vice versa.

Current Outside Position

Michael is a professional illustrator and graphic designer established on the East and West Coasts. His experience has given him the ability to think outside the box and offer a versatile approach to teaching and design in the government sector and movie industry, working with clients such as Disney and Warner Bros.

In addition to graphic design, he also paints murals. Some larger projects have been for Nova BMX in Woodbridge, Bar Bao in Clarendon, The Boro mural project in Tysons Corner, and America Eats Tavern by Jose Andres in Georgetown.

Currently, Michael works as a Graphic Designer for Booz Allen Hamilton based in McLean, VA.
