Meaghan Busch

Meaghan Busch spent most of her adolescent life in Sarasota, Florida, which is known for its rich history and involvement with the Ringling Circus. She uses personal childhood narrative, nature and fiction for creative inspiration.  She came as a transplant to D.C. in 2004 and She received her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art & Design in 2008. Meaghan then received her MFA in Critical Art Practices at George Mason University 2011. Her focus is in printmaking and sculpture, with her printed imagery often becoming the blueprints for her sculptural installations.  She currently lives in VA and produces art on her own Press named “Blue Cat Press”.
