Bio

While a graduate student at the George Washington University Museum Studies Program, Professor Palmer was a student of Marie Malaro.  She now applies the same rigor to the collections management class that she co-teaches with Deb Hull-Walski.  Professor Palmer, a collections management specialist at NMNH, works with the largest fish collections in the world especially the care of osteological specimens.  In addition, Professor Palmer oversees the physical and intellectual management of two-dimensional paper and film-based collections.

  • Collections Manager at the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) Department of Vertebrate Zoology
