Kate Hardy is an artist living and working in Washington DC. In addition to teaching and working as a Museum Specialist, she owns and operates Hollow Work Ceramics, a pottery business specializing in unique handmade table and drink ware. Her functional and non-functional pieces are made while considering peoples' relationships to images, objects, spaces, and each other. Working as a museum specialist and having daily interaction with artifacts informs her creative process.
