Holly Yeager was the Middle East and Asia Editor at The Washington Post, and also covered lobbying for the paper as a member of the national staff. Earlier, she spent eight years with the Financial Times, in New York – as a columnist, a reporter, and an editor of the paper’s Weekend section – and in Washington, where she covered national politics. She was a reporter and editor at The Washington Independent, an innovative nonprofit journalism venture that combined blogging and analysis, and a media critic for the Columbia Journalism Review. Her long-form narrative journalism includes an early profile of Michelle Obama for O, The Oprah Magazine, and several pieces for The Wilson Quarterly.
