Bio

Carey Stipe Lavallee has been with GW since fall of 2012, first with the Music Department as their Operations Manager, and then with the Corcoran since fall 2017 as the Fiscal Operations Manager. She works with all 7 programs and the central administration to budget plan and see those plans through to fulfillment. Her background includes a BFA in Music Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory and a Master's in Arts Administration from Boston University. Prior to earning her master's, Carey worked as a freelance stage manager with Actors Equity Association in the DC metro area and as the Rentals Coordinator for Olney Theatre Center. Outside of GW, she is active with the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative and is a board member with Monumental Theatre Company.
