The Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship is a private grant awarded under the auspices of the Fondation des Etats-Unis. It offers its winners numerous advantages, including:
- A 10,000 € stipend (may vary subject to fund earnings) for the upcoming academic year
- A rent-controlled live-in artist atelier or music studio at the Fondation des Etats-Unis
- Access to on-site performance and exhibition facilities, including a private art gallery and a historically significant concert hall.
The Fondation des Etats-Unis is a private student residence located across from the Parc Montsouris in Paris’ 14th arrondissement, a cultural center within the international community of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris. Opened in 1930, the Fondation des Etats-Unis offers 265 individual rooms for American and international students, including a select number of art and music studios in which exceptional students of visual arts and music may live and work.
