Bio

A proud detailer, Professor Alvin Tsao has worked in technical design, production, and drafting for over 30 years. He ensures that students understand the technical workings behind design and fabrication, and that no student will ever paint over stainless steel or a beautiful piece of original lumbar. While he currently teaches Materials, Finishes, and Methods, in the past, he has also taught East Asian Calligraphy, hosted Chinese calligraphy & seal carving workshops, and worked as a freelance Chinese-specialist artist.

"The devil is in the details!"
