Abby Loeffler began her design career in the advertising industry as a graphic designer and art director. Realizing that she craved more than two-dimensional design work, she pursued an education in architecture and urban design. Today her design methodologies are driven by the social and behavioral sciences that were the foundation of her advertising career and the desire to create spaces that capture one’s senses on multiple dimensions. As an educator, Professor Loeffler is interested in the story being told, from design concept to final presentation, every step informs the next. Guiding students through this process is one of the most rewarding pursuits of all.
